Aim of the project: To provide best and quick health care at door step in rural area of Areraj Block to the poor and marginalised people at nominal cost on the basis of no loss no profit.

About Areraj:
Areraj is located 30 km from Motihari town. It is on the bank of river ganga known as Gandak. This area has highly populated, consist of about 150000 people. It is one of the most backward areas of India. This area has never ever seen any ray of development and change in last 60 years. The only pilgrimage centre of Bihar is situated here. Its sheeva peetham. Every year more than 500000 devotees visit the temple during month of shravan. It has several historical importances. .
Champaran is the area of North Bihar which shares its border with Nepal and Uttar Pradesh. This place is known for the heinous act of Indigo cultivation and later Mahatama Gandhi started India’s Independence movement from this place. It is mostly consists of villages and rural areas. There is no rail transport in the rural areas of Champaran, There are few stations like Motihari, Bettiah, Ramnagar, Bagaha,Narkatiyaganj, Chanpatiya and sathi on rail map.

We are a small Non-Profit Organization interested and keen for the Welfare and Development of People. We are passionate about people and their development. We work as a Family for the society. We never believe in claiming but we serve and try to empower people. We address the basic local problems and train locals to overcome from the issues. The mantra of our family is involvement and empowerment of People.
People Care Family is a NGO (under SSNM Trust, Reg No: 2748, Chennai) based in Chennai, Tamilnadu and Motihari, Bihar. We are not limited to area and boundary. We work on projects of livelihood, health and women empowerment. We have more than 100 dedicated volunteers and 21 Office bearers with three Offices in India.We are trying to work as a platform, which is like a bridge between academicians and field based conditions and realities. We provide the assurance to the poor for better livelihood and social protection and also support and provoke the “right of information”. We believe in Gandhi Ji’s idea of self-sufficient village and Robert Chamber’s idea of “Development is Good change”. Our work explores about use of power to promote change in medical , getting “skills and learning” from many micro-level efforts globally, including women and minority empowerment. We also believe in creating opportunities to promote a life of dignity to dalits and minority. To transform community well powerful to fight with the impact of climate change, natural and man -made disasters.
About project:
This project is first of its kind in this area, which is going to give medical at door step to the poor and needy people. Doctors are going to care patient in the verge of their self motivation and responsibility towards society. We will provide better health care than private clinics. Each patient will be cared individually at personal level and file will be maintained at both digital and printed level. Other than this center will promote health awareness and other medical sessions. This centre is going to work in two way , 1st medical facility to poor in nominal charge and also it will give doctors chance to contribute in building healthy society. Basically to provide medical treatment to rural marginalised section of society. It means to those who are below poverty mostly come under dalits, Maha Dalits and minority community.
How many people will get affected by this?
About 300,000 people are our target audience at each center. 1st phase we will be opening at Areraj and Pahadpur.
In 2nd stage, we will expand it for whole east and west champaran by starting other centres at Harsiddhi, Keasariya, sahebganj,Ramgadhwa, Chanpatiya, Sagauli. 3rd stage will cover all 38 districts of whole Bihar.
